Wedding Flowers and DIY Flower Buckets in Wanaka

We are a small flower farm in Wānaka growing beautiful seasonal flowers outdoors. Our flowers can be described as cottage garden and traditional country flowers that are full of texture, or wild and whimsical. We pick what we grow here in Wānaka.

Our flowers are available between September/October to the first frost of Autumn, as all our flowers are seasonally dependent.

We have a few options for your DIY wedding flowers. You can buy buckets of flowers of flowers to make your own bouquets, buttonholes and table decorations or we have some wedding flower options for you.

We welcome all enquiries for buying flowers by the bucket for your wedding or event. My flower farm is based in central Wānaka so we are in an ideal location for Wānaka weddings including the wider Central Otago region, such as Tarras, Queensberry, Hawea, Cardrona, Cromwell, Alexandra, Clyde and Queenstown. Bookings are essential.

DIY Flower Buckets

Our DIY buckets of flowers include 50 stems of gorgeous, seasonal flowers grown on our garden farm in Wanaka. These flowers are perfect for those who want to arrange their own wedding flowers, who are flexible in their choice of flowers and love the cottage garden style. We also have foliage available which is sold by the bucket. The number of stems in a bucket of foliage varies on the size and length of the stem of foliage.

DIY Flower Bucket Growers Choice of 50 stems - $120
Bucket of Foliage - $80

Orders are to be picked up from Wanaka, or we can deliver for a charge.

If you have your heart set on specific flowers for your wedding flowers or even one colour only, I would recommend going to a florist who will be able to order in flowers for your big day. We can not guarantee that we will have a specific flower type available as flower farming is unpredictable and subject to the outdoor elements and pests.

If you are planning your wedding flowers, and would love to use local cottage garden flowers but don’t think you have the time to put the flowers together by yourself, then there is the option to have some or all of your flowers put together by myself.

I can put together bride/bridesmaid/flower girl bouquets, buttonholes, and posies for tables. You can order some or all of these and DIY buckets too. All my work is done using sustainable methods. I do not use floral foam.
This option is perfect for laid back weddings. We do not do bigger installations like flower arches and aerial displays.

  • There is no minimum order. You just need to book your wedding DIY buckets in advance as it can be difficult to add more to your order close to the time.

  • If your wedding is on a Saturday I recommend picking them up on Thursday morning. Flowers can be arranged Thursday and they will last until your Saturday wedding. You will need a cool area to store your flowers and make sure you check the water is topped up.
